Can it be? Is spring finally here? 

Now that we're seeing occasional temps in the 70 degree F range, it's time to get that two-wheeler, side by side, or ATV in shape. Have you checked your tires, sprockets, chain, brakes, and all the other wear items on your rig? We offer many services to get you safely on the road or trail. Check out our offerings today!

UPDATE!

Yours truly will be taking a few days off in June for a two-wheeled return visit to Mendocino, California. AMT will be closed from 6/26-7/2 2025. For a look at a previous motorcycle adventure there, check out our YouTube channel.

Deb and I will also be making an RV trip to the mid-west. Along with visiting relatives in Minnesota, we plan on visiting the "U.P." of Michigan and the Maritime Museum at Whitefish Point. AMT will be closed for the last two weeks of July, 2025.

 We also have tentatively planned a multi-day camp/loop ride event to include a few of our close friends. Stay tuned to this column for updates.

Hoka What? I'd never heard of such a ride, but...

In anticipation of the arrival of a Hoka Hey rider/participant, Paul Tong, was needing new tires and brake pads, and at arounnd 9pm, we opened our shop doors.

In preparation for the rider's arrival, 

Lincoln Seals of Seals Custom Fabrication LLC had picked up the rider's tires in Missoula, along with a Subway sandwich. At around 9:30pm a very weary tall man rolled in on his Harley PanAmerica and we set to work on bringing both the rider and the bike back into form.

As I concentrated on mounting some new Michelins on the Harley, Lincoln and his son worked to refresh brake pads. Within about 1 1/2 hours we had the bike ready to go, and amazingly to me, he was setting off for a night time Canadian border crossing. 

Anyone participating in this event needs a very strong will and lots of determination to execute the ride within the allotted time and has to have the discipline to adhere to the strict rules of travel. As an example, those rules require that the rider sleeps next to his/her machine within reaching distance. This 10,000 mile ride isn't for the casual rider or the faint of heart!

We wish this rider safe travels on his way from Florida to Homer Alaska.

A: Yes, but stock is limited (We can order what you need, just give us advanced notice)

Q: Do you perform motor-related work?

A: AMT currently does not do general motor work. We can perform some accessory installations and offer services other than tire work. Check out "What We Do" on the home page.
