About Us

I started riding motorcycles in my 8th year of living... That was back in 1963. My first machine was a mini-bike called a QuarterHorse. From there I progressed in to the Hodaka world, stepping up to a "real" motorcycle. At one point my family had five Hodakas. It wasn't long until I began a racing career - or so I thought it might be come a career! 

When I turned sixteen I turned professional - but only had one year as an AMA novice. Although I raced scrambles, motocross, and rode enduros, my true love was flat track - A true American sport. I traveled around the Pacific Northwest with my schoolmate and racing buddy, hitching a ride in his old Ford van whenever I could.

I started working on motorcycles at the age of eleven, completely disassembling and reassembling my little Hodaka motor. As for dealing with tires - I tell folks that I started out with two screwdrivers and a good patch kit! Let me assure you, my shop tools have certainly been upgraded since then.

Over time, the racing gave way to general trail riding, street touring, and commuting to my day job year-round on a motorcycle. I believe I probably have close to a million miles of riding under my belt.

Today my riding is strictly for pleasure, with my mount now being a 2015 KTM 1290 Super Adventure. (UPDATE May 2023! - I now own a 2023 KTM Super Adventure R !)  These days I love getting up in the mountains and taking in the beautiful vistas of the Pacific NW. In 2017 I rode with two of my good friends to Alaska. It was an epic trip. Fast forward to 2007 - When we opened All Moto Tire to the public. It's been a great pleasure servicing customer motorcycles and in particular, meeting new people from all around the U.S. (and the world, for that matter!) We've had customers from as far away as Austrailia and Guatemala. 

I'm proud of the work we do and the care we take with customer machines. I hope we can help YOU at some point and earn your business.
